Report on JIJNASA-2025 – Two-Day National Level Technical Event     

    Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women (BRECW)
    6th and 7th March 2025

JIJNASA-2025, a two-day national-level technical extravaganza, was successfully organized on March 6th and 7th, 2025, at Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women (BRECW). Hosted under the aegis of CSI, IEEE, IETE, IEI, and ISTE student chapters, the event served as a vibrant platform for budding engineers to exhibit their technical acumen and innovative thinking.
The event saw an overwhelming response, with a total of 622 students registering for various competitions. Notably, 106 participants from other institutions across various departments CSE (21), ECE (30), EEE (26), and IT (29)—contributed to making the event a grand success. Participation extended across 24 institutions from Telangana, apart from the host college. Notable names included Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology, Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology, Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science, St. Peters Engineering College, and Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College. Prestigious institutions like CVR College of Engineering, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Anurag University, Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women also marked their presence. Engineering colleges from Warangal, such as Vaagdevi College of Engineering and Talla Padmavathi College of Engineering, contributed to the event’s extensive reach within the state.
Beyond Telangana, participation came from seven institutions across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan. From Tamil Nadu, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, SSN College of Engineering, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore took part. VR Siddhartha Engineering College, Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Science, and Sree Venkateshwara Commerce Degree College represented Andhra Pradesh, while College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur, represented Rajasthan. In all, 32 institutions participated—25 from Telangana (including the host) and 7 from other states—underlining the national prominence of JIJNASA-2025. This collaborative confluence of students fostered knowledge sharing, innovation, and a spirit of technical excellence.

Inaugural Session

The inaugural session commenced at 10:00 AM on March 6, 2025, graced by eminent dignitaries:

The session began with a soul-stirring invocation, followed by a welcome address and an introduction to Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeeth (SLV) by Dr. Sudha Vepa, who outlined the institution’s mission and dedication to education.
Dr. Ch. Sujatha Gangadhar highlighted the significance of organizing such technical events to encourage learning beyond classrooms.
Dr. J. Madhavan emphasized the role of tech fests in nurturing curiosity and creativity among students.
The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. Sriram Venkatesh, Secretary, TGCHE, who lauded BRECW for its pioneering efforts in women's education and its commitment to quality and inclusivity.
Prof. R. Sridevi, Director, Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Startups at JNTUH, delivered an inspiring address as the Guest of Honour. She motivated students to become innovators and job creators, urging them to view entrepreneurship as a path forward. The much-anticipated release of the Fanzine was carried out during the session by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, alongside SLV and BRECW leadership.

Food Plaza Event

A vibrant Food Plaza was organized on March 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for B.Tech students across all years. Coordinated by the Event Committee of BRECW, the event took place at the two-wheeler parking area, providing a joyful and informal networking space for participants.

Technical Events

Over the course of two days, a wide range of technical events and competitions were conducted, inviting participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students alike. These events tested analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, coding abilities, and subject knowledge, offering a comprehensive platform for students to sharpen their technical edge and creativity.

Valedictory Ceremony

The grand finale of JIJNASA-2025 was held on March 7, 2025.
The Valedictory Ceremony was an inspiring culmination of two days of intense learning and collaboration. Prof. A. Jaya Lakshmi, Director of UGC Affairs, JNTUH, presided as the Chief Guest. She delivered an impactful address emphasizing the role of self-control and discipline in goal-setting and achievement, urging students to dream big and stay committed.
Dr. Gracy Saila Sree shared insights on the transformative power of technology and the importance of adapting to innovation for long-term success. The ceremony was attended by senior dignitaries, including:

The event was widely appreciated for its organization, diversity of events, and the professional platform it provided. The success of JIJNASA-2025 reaffirms the commitment of BRECW and SLV to promoting innovation, technical excellence, and holistic development in engineering education
