Dr. M. Sandhya Rani completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from SRTIST, affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Telangana, in 2002. She obtained her M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana, in 2008, and was awarded a Ph.D. by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) in 2022. Her areas of expertise include Computer Networks and Network Security. She has published more than 25 research papers in reputed peer-reviewed international journals and has presented papers at both national and international conferences. She has served as a resource person for several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and has also acted as a reviewer for various conferences.

On behalf of our IT family, I am happy to invite you all to the Department of Information Technology at Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for women. We have a team of highly qualified, talented and dedicated faculty in our department. Faculty and students are updated and given hands on experience in latest emerging technologies by conducting seminars and workshops. They are also motivated to attend different programs outside college to enhance skills.

IT Department is committed to achieve following goals.

To provide an education that transforms students into technocrats through rigorous coursework.
Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems by applying mathematical foundations and algorithmic principles in IT environment to meet industrial challenges.
To create an ambience that will contribute in creating self-reliant, innovative and entrepreneurial professionals, who shall contribute to the growth of Science and Technology.
To create an environment in which new ideas and research flourish, and from which the leaders and innovators of tomorrow emerge.
Faculty and students are always encouraged to publish research papers in national, international journal and conferences.

We are committed in creating graduates who will have the knowledge of fundamental principles and innovative technologies to succeed in higher studies, and research.
