JIJNASA-2024, a two-day national-level technical event, was successfully conducted on April 1st and 2nd, 2024, under the aegis of the CSI, IEEE, and ISTE student chapters. The event served as a vibrant platform for students from various engineering disciplines to showcase their skills, share knowledge, and engage in technical discussions. Inaugural Session The event commenced with the inaugural session on April 1st at 10:00 AM. The Chief Guest, Mrs. S. Shankari, Project Director at ASL, DRDO, graced the occasion and delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the responsible use of scientific tools and the importance of curiosity in learning. She urged students to use their knowledge for societal benefit. Distinguished guests on the dais included: Dr. Sudha Vepa, Secretary, SLV Dr. Ch. Manju Bhargavi, Convener, JIJNASA-2024 HODs, HOFs, faculty members, and students from BRECW and other institutions The session began with an invocation, followed by a brief introduction to Sangam Laxmibai Vidyapeeth and Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of technical events in nurturing innovation and skill development. The inaugural concluded at 10:55 AM. Technical Events A vibrant Food Plaza was organized on March 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for B.Tech students across all years. Coordinated by the Event Committee of BRECW, the event took place at the two-wheeler parking area, providing a joyful and informal networking space for participants. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): Inno Talks: A forum for presenting innovative ideas. Mind Maze: A logic and reasoning-based challenge. Innov8Tech: A showcase of technical creativity.

The closing ceremony was held on April 2nd in the Indoor Auditorium, Ramdev Block. The Chief Guest, Prof. M. Shailaja, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Additional Controller of Examinations at JNTUH, delivered a motivating address emphasizing the role of such events in fostering innovation and preparing students for future challenges. The ceremony celebrated the contributions of the organizing team and recognized the dedication of the leadership and faculty members. Special recognition was also given to the Convener, Ms. R. Manju Bhargavi (Associate Professor, EEE), and Co-Convener, Dr. P. Deepthi (Associate Professor, CSE), whose meticulous planning and execution ensured the event’s success. The Heads of Departments also played a crucial role in coordinating various activities and supporting student engagement.
