Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students
in academic affairs / |
The academic work is
processed as described by the JNTU, The faculty prepare
their lesson plan and lecture notes and slides for their allotted
subject. The lesson plan along with
time table are distributed to the students before the semester beginning The students are
given assignments and their work is verified by teachers. Any requirement to repeat few topics in a
particular subject is identified by feedback system in class and tutorial
classes are arranged. This way faculty and
students accountability towards academics is increased and involves both
groups in academic affairs. Faculty are assigned
with additional duty of counseling to group of students in all their academic
activities |

Mechanism
/ Norms & Procedure for Democratic / Good Governance |
From the departments
the management has isolated the procurement and maintenance of stores. Departments will give the specification and
sources of availability of the equipment to the Purchase Section. The Purchase Section procures the items on
the recommendations of the Departments.
In this process, there is no delay and at the same time the
departments are able to concentrate on academic programmes. The administration
entertains a proposal from even a junior faculty members if it relates to the
development of the college. A faculty recruited
through the college selection board on adhoc basis with zero experience are
also given scales with allowances and their positions are ratified at a later
date through university selections Students are
encouraged by awarding them incentives for their performance, proportional to
their attendance and merits. As the society is
formed for women empowerment, it spends readily for any developmental works
in connection with their women students. |

Student
feedback on institutional Governance / faculty performance |
There are three suggestion
boxes placed in locations accessible to everybody related with college
affairs (i.e. students and also the faculty).
Students can freely and without any reservations can give their
opinion / suggestions / grievance / comment on faculty performance. The suggestion boxes are opened daily and
the suggestions are recorded in a register.
Thereafter, appropriate action / consideration / changes /
implementations are taken according to the merit / weightage of the issue. The suggestions and their implementation /
non implementation is informed by displaying them on student notice boards. |
Every year, at the
end of the semester, student feed back is collected. The performance of teacher are analyzed –
faculty is informed about their demerits / difficulties in lecturing and
suggestions by experts one given so as to improve their skills for letter
teaching. In certain cases actions are
also been taken against the teachers who could improve faculty performance is
also accessed by HOD and basing on his/her recommendations incentives like
increment / promotions are considered. |

Grievance
Redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students |
Teacher Counselor is
appointed for every 15 students from first year. The Counsellor takes the feedback from
students and informs the HODs about the student group difficulties,
requirements, etc. The HOD in turn
takes the appropriate action. Departmental
meetings are conducted every month where the faculty can freely and frankly
give their opinions and ideas about the academic development programmes. The minutes of the meetings are
communicated to the Principal and the management for further actions. |
