Department Infrastructure                   

The Department has two well-established computer labs as described below.

 

IT Workshop: - IT workshop has established during 2005-06 as per the revised syllabus of JNTU and it is available to all students.

 

 

 

IT Lab-IV: - Has 66 systems (Lenovo, P-IV, 1.7 GHz) Connected to two servers (With Processor of 1.8 GHz) Loaded with Linux software and Windows XP 2002.

 

 

 

 

IT Lab-V: - Has 72 systems (IBM Make-IV, 3.0 GHz) loaded with windows XP 2002.

 

 

                      The above mentioned labs have the facility of latest licensed software such as IBM Rational Rose, Turbo C++, and Oracle 9i, Developer 2000, MSDN, Multimedia software such as Media Player, Studio Max, and sound forge, other software like, Web Designer, Photoshop and Flash Player, PageMaker, Linux and Antivirus software such as MCAFEE Virus scan (ver 6.0), Norton Anti Virus 2002 (ver 8.5) etc. The above labs are under LAN environment with appropriate peripherals, such as scanner, printers, CD Writer etc.
